Q: How do I go about checking availability for housing?
A: Please fill out our request form with the dates and preferred location for your stay, and we can give you current options available. You can also hit the call now button on the bottom of our webpage so you can call us directly for assistance.
Q: Where do you have housing located at?
A: We have furnished housing located across Killeen, Harker Heights, Nolanville, Copperas Cove, Temple, Gatesville and the surrounding Central Texas Areas. We specialize in furnished housing located all around the Fort Hood Area.
Q: What type of Housing do you offer?
A: Currently we only supply short, medium, and long term FULLY FURNISHED rentals. Rentals include furniture, utilities, internet, and starter basic toiletries and cleaning supplies during your stay. We currently are not supplying unfurnished rentals at this time. Our homes can be considered corporate housing, vacation rentals, and extended stay residences.
Q: I need specific invoicing requirements to be reimbursed through my employer, DTS/GTC; does DTS Rentals provide this?
A: YES!!! We provide receipt and invoicing compliant for military travel vouchers, travelling professionals (including healthcare, nurses, and doctors), local and state government employees, and travelling maintenance and work crews. Our billing details break down everything you need for reimbursement, if you need something additional required, it is no problem for our team to adjust our billing to meet your needs!
Q: If I am on military orders, can I get out of my lease without penalty if I provide valid orders?
A: Absolutely! Many of our team are Veterans and we all have extensive experience working with military DTS and Orders requirements.
Q: Does DTS Rentals provide a valid lease?
A: YES! DTS Rentals utilizes valid Texas Leases during your stay for everyone's protection!
Q: What Payment Methods are accepted?
A: We accept ACH/Bank Transfers, Major Credit Cards, DTS/GTC Cards, and Cashier's Checks.
Q: What will I need to secure housing?
A: Valid Government issued ID, a signed and executed lease with DTS Rentals, if military; unit and command POC information, if a travelling professional or company, Company Employer Information.
Q: When is payment due?
A: Billing in full is prepaid prior to stay if less than 30 days. For multiple month stays, billing is prepaid monthly. DTS/GTC Stays are billed monthly, our team is familiar and understands the complexities and work with our military members. Regardless of customer, payment in full is always accepted if customers choose this option.
Q: I'm using a DTS Voucher, does that cover damages to the property or furniture during my stay?
A: No, DTS Vouchers do not cover damages to property or furniture that are NOT from standard wear and tear. These costs are the responsibility of the tenant and we highly recommend personal property insurance during your stay.
Q: Can I have other people move in and stay in the house that are not on the lease?
A: Only approved and authorized tenants that are listed on the Lease Agreement are approved to stay and live in the home full time. If adjustments or additional people need to stay in the home, please contact us for approval. Note, this can affect pricing in certain situations.
